What is really cool about the #WikiLeaks cablegate issue is that we don´t have the standar response procedure going on any more by the US Government... where the easy action to take would be discredit the source of the information (also known as Intell)...what is really cool is that they can´t to anything to avoid it but be prepare for its virus-spreading, knowing that everyone will asume they are good, and original pieces of truth, not just made up fantasy leaked by a crazy activist. Instead we have this guy publishing documents all over the world, and people all over the world are waiting to read them even when I am pretty much sure that this docs won´t say anything "special that we all don´t know or thinck they think "...
I hope they don´t take the second plan into action, instead of discredit the source, the intell, the info, the facts... discredit the character making it a spy movie where the Wiki-Leak-Guy suffers an accident in his car in "normal" conditions...
My point is that What is really cool about this #WikiLeaks issue is that there is no more questioning about the power of consumers in all kinds of markets in this surplus-globall economy, the CONSUMER has the power and the firms have to do what it takes to get the sale, but it didn´t come out to politics untill now, when politicians have always the power to shutt all the different voices down because they have the privilege of having access to media, to control and "push" the storyline into the script, the bunch of arguments they exactly need to get the defamation job done.
Now he have the power to the people. I Like It. You Like It. We all Like It.
Now lets be carefull with power, because choice of power needs choice & responsability of the actions we take, and like it or not, we all don´t have the capacity to take decission and use (right) the (right) power.
My conclusion is that we are starting to loose weight, together, united, thanks to freedom of Internet, because somewhere along the way they forgot the truth about it or saw the benefit about it and just added one simple word that changed everything. We no longer have "Decomacracy is a government of (some) people for the people"...
Let it just be as it has to be "the people for the people" and ... . let it be
